Our Lady of Walsingham

Walsingham was one of the four great Shrine and Pilgrimage centres of Medieval Christendom. Walsingham is a Marian shrine and is dedicated to Our Lady of Walsingham dating back nearly one thousand years. Walsingham is founded on the story of the Annunciation; the Angel Gabriel sent by God to visit the young Virgin Mary with the news that she will give birth to His son Jesus, the Messiah, Emmanuel and Saviour to us all.

If you have not visited us before, come and experience this special place in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, where you will be given a warm welcome. Many of our Walsingham Products are sold exclusively in the Pilgrim Shop and on this website. Our Walsingham statues have been sent to Churches, Shrine Cells and individuals all over the world.

The present day statue we stock of Our Lady of Walsingham is based on the image found on the original medieval Great Seal of Walsingham. We produce a contemporary version of the Great Seal and these are available on this website, along with Our Lady of Walsingham Statues in various sizes and finishes.

Many of our replica Pilgrim Badges are copied from original medieval pieces and hand cast by small craft workshops. The Della Robbia style ceramic Annunciation plaque is an exact copy of the Image you see first as you enter the Anglican Shrine. We can provide bespoke Hand Painted and gilded Fibre‐glass statues in the colour and decoration of you’re choosing; please contact us directly with your requirements.
